The Murphy U102A is an a.c/d.c mains valve radio, which was made in 1947. It has long, medium & short wave band reception.
The valve line-up is as follows:-
TH233, VP133, HL133DD, PEN383, U403.
This radio is quite distinctive in its appearance with its two-tone coloured cabinet.
I bought this from an antique centre in Leeds many years ago (now there is no longer such facilities in this city - shame!)
