B2D93A. An attractive model in the "PHILETTA" range of radios.
This a.c mains set employs long, medium, short, & v.h.f (u.k.w) wavebands.
It has push-button switching, and a "sunburst" effect speaker
grille, which is illuminated from in the set by two lamps. It was made about
1959, and employs the following valve line-up :- ECC85, ECH81, EF89, EABC80,
EL95, & METAL RECTIFIER.
My
set is in sprayed cream colour, but there other models in the "PHILETTA"
range that are in brown bakelite.
