The Philips B3X85U is an a.c/d.c mains valve radio. It was made in 1958/59, and is mainly used on 220 volts a.c mains. It has a great looking acrylic frontage, which is illuminated when the radio is switched on.
It has medium and two short wave band reception, and has press button switching. There is also a tuning indicator.The valves used are as follows:-
UCH81, UF89, UBC81, UL84, UM80, UY42.
The radio is not working at present.
