This set was known as the "Jewel Box", and operated off AC Mains/ Battery supplies. The valve line-up included DK96, DF96, DAF96, & DL96 (+ metal rectifier.). It employed lw & mw bands. It had an attractive chrome - plated deck, and was the source of spare knobs for the PYE FENMAN Mk 1 receiver. The P131MBQ was made in 1955.
