511. This a.c mains valve radio employs long, medium & short wave bands.
It was made in 1950 by R.M ELECTRIC of Gateshead, U.K. The cabinet design
is very distinctive, and also has serrations on the control knobs.
Quite
a rare model - not often seen at vintage radio fairs. There is a cheaper
version, marketed under the ROLAND name, which is more commonly seen.
