UNITRA
"FIGARO SPECIAL". Believe it or not, this attractive AC Mains valve
radio looks a lot older
than it actually is. Made in Poland in 1968, and shipped over to England via
an agent, these
sets were quite popular. UNITRA made many more radio & radiogram designs.
It also employs
a "magic eye" indicator valve, but also has many troublesome features,
including capacitors
(often faulty), and sometimes a selenium rectifier !
